AKRON Europa Drainage
The new Europa Range from Akron takes the development of our
Continental Range one storage further. Whilst the base frame design remains
unchanged-providing unrivalled stability and rigidity-two new features have been
designed into the top section, leading to a number of configuration options and
additional benefits.
The provision of 'powered drainage' permits effective and
effortless patient positioning for the treatment of number of pulmonary related
conditions as well as providing additional comfort in the prone position.
The 'split leg' option provides the ability to be able to isolate either of
the lower limbs for a variety of rehabilitation and mobilising positions as well
as providing an effective back-rest when used in the seated position.

AKRON Europa Continental
Like our existing Continental Range, the new Europa Continental Range has the option of a 'C' head section, allowing isolation of the arms from the head and neck, when lying in the prone position. This provides additional patient comfort and relaxation around the shoulder girdle.
These features, in combination wiht a touch sensitive foot-bar switch and fixation rails make the Europa Range probably the most comprehensive range of couches available to the 'modern day' manipulative therapist.
