Modularity

Genesis is a modular system with parts and sizes that fits and interchange with each other to allow the surgeon to select and assemble implants that fits bone, rather than resecting bone to fit implants.

Flexibility

Genesis system design makes it an optimal choice for many procedures. Its asymmetric tibial tray is more anatomically correct and is available in sizes that offer better fit, thus relieving the surgeon from the unpleasant choice between "overhang" and " under hang". An Aluminum oxide grit-blast surface and a tibial stem with cement grooves assures optimal fixation.

...Genesis allows a better range of motion, due to uniform patellar tracking, a superior patellar groove, and taller femoral condoyles.

...The anterior lateral flange on the femoral component is raised. The design reduces the possibility of patellar dislocation and minimizes femoral/patellar wear. Femoral/Tibial congruency is also extremely smooth, minimizing cold flow and allowing for more anatomical function.
