Alternating Pressure Reliving Pad System With Air Loss

The Alphacare® range of pressure sore prevention systems combine gentle air loss with continuous alternating pressure relief. A constant air flow between the patient and the mattress helps prevent heat and moisture build up, thus reducing skin maceration and providing extra comfort for the patient.

The Alphacare® range is designed for patients up to 90kg and who are assessed to be at low risk of pressure sore development.

Active pressure relief with air loss

Continuously inflating and deflating cells periodically relieve the pressure from the body over a 10 minute cycle allowing vital oxygen and nutrients to the tissues.
